A well tagged net of hiking trails guide you to more than 70 operated mountain pastures and more than 50 crystal clear mountain lakes in unspoiled nature. In case you are interested in a guided tour, you can also join a so-called "biospherepark fex" - they will show you the most gorgeous spots !  All cable car operators offer their services between June and September - by using those you can conquer the surrounding summits without major efforts. 

Cyclers and mountainbikers can make use of a well developed network of biking-trails. For e-bikers Austria´s highest Mountainbiking trail net is at your disposal - more than 100 charging stations are available and allow lengthy trekking tours which otherwise could only be done by well  trained athletes. The Mountainbike map helps you to plan your tour and to copy/paste the GPS data into your smart devices.

Additionally the region offers a variety of possibilities - an Outdoor-Park, climbing/bouldering facilities, paragliding, horseriding, fishing or mushroom picking opportunities in close proximity. The free-of-charge Lungau-Summercard includes the usage of many offerings at favorable conditions - benefit from it ! Of course, you can also use the Wellness Center Samsunn in summer for free Swimming & Relaxing...

Golfers can book their tee-time either on the challenging 18-hole course of GC Lungau or visit one of the other courses in the surrounding area (such as GC Murau Kreischberg, GC Radstadt, GC Bad Kleinkirchheim, GC Millstatt). During spring, also attractive Ski & Golf combi-packages are offered - skiing until noon and golfing in the afternoon, what else can be better….
